Video Analysis
JPH is excited to bring around a way for players to improve their on ice game through video, done by coaches who have played and worked at some of the highest levels. This program is built for both players and goalies, along with any age and skill level.
Coaches
Tyler Johnson (Goalies)- Former professional goaltender in the AHL. 7 years of junior hockey experience, 5 playing and 2 as a staff member. These leagues include the BCHL, USHL, OHL and WHL.
Ross Kovacs (Players)- Former division 3 player. His last 3 years of coaching have been split between the NAHL and USHL.
How does it work?
Players will meet with their perspective coach, and video sessions will be held over zoom.
Each session will be 30 minutes long.
Film can be shown from instat, tpe or livebarn. If your association does not have a contract with any of these video programs, video will have to be taken and sent in to be clipped.
Sessions
The JPH video analysis program costs $1500 for the season. Players will receive 20 video sessions that are 30 minutes long.
Film
Player's film will be clipped prior to the video to ensure a smooth process.
The coaches will go over game film of the player to show positives, negatives and alternatives of that players game.
Some sessions may include clips of NHL players or games, to help show the athlete things to improve on our alternative plays.
